Learning Assessment Services

At My Global World University of Applied Science (MUAS), we offer specialized Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) assessment services, designed to recognize and validate the knowledge and expertise gained outside traditional academic settings.

APEL-Q for DBA Qualification

Our APEL-Q (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning for Qualification) process enables eligible candidates to earn a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) by assessing their prior professional experience, achievements, and learning.

This rigorous evaluation ensures that non-traditional learning—acquired through work, research, and professional contributions—is recognized at the highest academic level without the need for conventional coursework.

Why Choose MUAS for APEL-Q Assessments?

Our structured and rigorous APEL-Q process ensures fairness, transparency, and alignment with academic and professional standards. By recognizing the value of prior learning, MUAS empowers professionals to achieve their academic goals without traditional barriers.

  • Professional Experience: Demonstrated leadership or managerial experience (typically 5+ years).
  • Educational Background: A master’s degree or equivalent professional qualifications.

  • Strategic decision-making.
  • Leadership and organizational management.
  • Advanced research methodologies.

C. Research Proposal
Candidates submit a research proposal outlining:

  • Objectives, methodology, and contribution to the field of business.

D. Viva Voce/Interview
An oral examination to:

  • Assess understanding of theoretical concepts and practical applications.
  • Discuss the proposed research project.

A reflective essay (3,000–5,000 words) addressing:

    • Personal and professional growth through experience.

Assessment Process

Initial Screening: Verify eligibility and completeness of documents.

Portfolio Review: Evaluate the relevance and depth of evidence.

Competency Mapping: Align professional experience with DBA standards.
