About MUAS

The Danish Framework

Recognition

At MUAS, we are not state-recognized. We believe that pursuing state recognition would limit our ability to innovate and fulfill our mission of redefining education and credentials.

Instead, we focus on global recognition, earning accreditations from internationally respected bodies that align with our values and vision. This independence allows us to remain agile, forward-thinking, and dedicated to providing meaningful credentials that reflect real-world knowledge and experience.

In Denmark, public universities are state-owned and operate under strict governmental regulations, ensuring state recognition of their programs and degrees. However, private universities, while not state-recognized, are fully allowed to operate within the legal framework. These institutions can offer degrees and qualifications, but their recognition depends on accreditation from independent or international bodies, rather than the state itself.

At MUAS, we embrace this framework as it provides the flexibility to innovate and redefine what education and credentials stand for. While we are not state-recognized, our focus is on delivering assessments and credentials that reflect real-world experience and skills, recognized by global and international accrediting organizations.

This approach allows us to cater to the needs of adult learners in a way that traditional systems often cannot.
